मिति २०८०/०६/०५ गतेका दिन यस मनमोहन मेमोरियल मेडिकल कलेज तथा शिक्षण अस्पतालको आरोग्य केन्द्रले आयोजना गरेको कार्यक्रममा आतिथ्य स्वीकार गरि पाल्नुभएका यस अस्पतालका सल्लाहकार समितिका अध्यक्ष, पूर्व स्थानीय विकास मन्त्री, बागमती प्रदेशका निवर्तमान माननीय मुख्यमन्त्री एवम् धादिङ प्रतिनिधि सभा क्षेत्र नं. १ का माननीय साँसद श्री राजेन्द्रप्रसाद पाण्डेज्यूको प्रमुख आतिथ्यतामा कल्पसदन अध्ययन प्रतिष्ठानद्वारा उत्पादित सुधापति तेलको सार्वजनिकरण कार्यक्रम सम्पन्न भयो ।  साथै उक्त अवसरमा मनमोहन मेमोरियल मेडिकल कलेज तथा शिक्षण अस्पतालको वेभ साईट तथा एन्द्रोइड् प्रयोगकर्ताको लागि अस्पतालको ‘मोबाइल अस्पताल एप’ समेत प्रमुख अतिथिज्यूको बाहुलीबाट शुभारम्भ गरियो ।

मनमोहन मेमोरियल मेडिकल कलेज तथा शिक्षण अस्पतालले मिदास टेक्नोलोजीसँगको सहकार्यमा ‘मोबाइल अस्पताल एप’ सञ्चालनमा ल्याएको हो ।  यो एप मार्फत बिरामीहरूले अब सजिलै अनलाइन अपोइन्टमेन्ट बुकिङ गर्न सक्ने छन्। बिरामीहरूले ओपीडी टिकटहरू बुकिङ र खरिद गर्नुका साथै  प्रयोगशाला रिपोर्टहरू पनि एपबाटै प्राप्त गर्ने सक्ने छन् । यो सेवाले अपोइन्टमेन्ट लिन अस्पतालसम्म पुग्ने समय र अस्पताल पुगेर लाममा पर्खनु पर्ने झन्झटलाई कम गर्ने छ ।  यसले अस्पतालको सेवालाई  समेत थप पहुँचयोग्य र सुलभ बनाउन सहयोग पुग्ने छ ।

Health Camp at Pashupatinath Temple Deemed a Resounding Success!

In a heartening display of unity and compassion, a health camp organized in association with the Nepal Communist Party Unified Socialist (Rautahat Kathmandu Samparka Manch) at the iconic Pashupatinath Temple has concluded with remarkable achievements!

The medical camps, strategically positioned within the temple premises, proved to be invaluable during the festivities, providing vital medical aid and care to visitors. Under the diligent watch of trained medical personnel, the camps offered assistance for minor injuries, ailments, and unforeseen emergencies that arose amidst the bustling celebrations.

पाठेघरको मुखको क्यान्सरविरुद्ध खोप

विश्वभरिका महिलामा देखिने क्यान्सरमध्ये पाठेघरको मुखको क्यान्सर चौथो मुख्य क्यान्सर हो। सन् २०२० मा विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन (डब्लूएचओ)द्वारा प्रकाशित तथ्यांकअनुसार पाठेघरको मुखको क्यान्सरका कारण विश्वमा ६ लाख ४ हजार नयाँ बिरामी पाइएका छन्। यस रोगबाट ३ लाख ४२ हजार महिलाको मृत्यु भएको छ। यीमध्ये ९० प्रतिशत निम्न तथा मध्यम आय भएका मुलुकका महिला हुन्।

Manmohan Memorial Medical College and Teaching Hospital extends its deepest appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Uspal Bajracharya, Sr. Consultant Urologist, and Sanjeev Bhakta Bista, Consultant Urologist, for their exceptional surgical skills and unwavering commitment to delivering outstanding healthcare.

The hospital recently witnessed a remarkable feat as Dr. Uspal Bajracharya and Dr. Sanjeev Bhakta Bista successfully performed a complex operation, named MPCNL (Mini Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy) with DJ stenting under General Anesthesia. The procedure aimed to diagnose Nephrolithiasis in the patient, Mr. Jinesh Shrestha, a 49-year-old male.

The surgical team’s expertise and dedication played a vital role in ensuring the operation’s success and the patient’s well-being. Their meticulous execution of the procedure showcased their profound knowledge and skill in the field of urology.

We had the pleasure of hosting esteemed delegates from Bournemouth University at our facility today. The meeting held on 21 June 2023 a remarkable display of shared commitment to providing quality healthcare and fostering academic growth. Let’s take a closer look at the highlights!
Dr. Alastair Morrison, Head of Partnership and Development at BU, along with Prof. Steven Ersser, Head of the Department of Nursing Sciences, and Dr. Michael Board, the Deputy Head, joined us in this fruitful discussion. Their presence emphasized the significance of collaboration in advancing healthcare practices.
During the meeting, Dr. Nastu Sharma, Executive Director of MMTH, emphasized our unwavering dedication to delivering top-notch care at affordable prices. He also highlighted the pivotal role played by nursing professionals in ensuring quality patient care.
Dr. Muza Shrestha, Managing Director of our hospital, expressed his belief that a partnership between our two institutions could substantially contribute to strengthening quality care and research activities. His vision was met with enthusiasm and support from all parties involved.
Prof. Dr. Sujan Marahatta, Director of Academic and International Partnerships at MMTH, emphasized the need to expand and enhance our ongoing collaboration. Training Program - 08 Feb. 2023

A training program on Communication skills for the nurses was conducted at Manmohan Memorial Medical College and Teaching Hospital. Prof. Vanora Hundley and Prof. Carol Clark of Bournemouth University UK facilitated the session. The training program was very effective to enrich patient-nurse communication. In the training program, Dr. Nastu Prasad Sharma - the Executive Director, Dr. Muza Shrestha - Managing Director, and Dr. Nirajan Subedi - Medical Director, along with Prof. Sujan B. Marahatta shed the light on the importance of communication skills for the nurses. Prof. Vanora and Carol came here on the Erasmus Mundus exchange program.
