In-Vitro fertilization is a new type of assisted reproductive technology (ART). It’s a highly advanced form of assisted reproduction technology (ART), specifically designed for infertile couples and those who have difficulty conceiving. “In vitro” means “within the glass,” and fertilization means “fusion of two gametes.” Thus, in vitro fertilization, also known as the test tube baby, involves the fusion of sperm and eggs outside of the body. As a result, the term “in vitro fertilization” or IVF was coined. During IVF, an egg is removed from the woman’s ovaries and fertilized with sperm in a laboratory. The fertilized egg, called an embryo, is then returned to the woman’s womb to grow and develop.
IVF Procedure
1.OVARIRAN STIMULATION
Ovarian stimulation is the first stage of IVF fertility treatment. The goal is to harvest as many mature eggs as possible from the woman’s ovaries. Harvesting many eggs maximizes the chances one of the eggs can be fertilized, implanted back into the uterus, and become a healthy baby.
2.EGG RETRIVAL
Egg Retrieval is the second stage of IVF fertility treatment. In this stage IVF specialized will passed a needle through the top of vagina under ultrasound guidance to get to the ovary and follicles. The procedure usually takes about 10 minutes at our clinic
3.FERTILISATION OF EGGS
Sperm and eggs are put together in the lab (in-vitro) about 4 hours after egg retrieval, or the sperm are injected individually into eggs by Embryologist. This injection process is called ICSI.
4.EMBRYO CULURE
The embryos are cultured in the IVF lab for 2-5 more days before one or more is put into the uterus by the embryo transfer procedure.
5.EMBRYO TRANSFER
This is final and most important stage of IVF procedure. The embryo transfer itself is a short procedure, often lasting between 15 and 30 minutes. IVF specialized will pass a catheter through the cervix and into the womb. From there, the embryos are passed through the tube and into the womb.
After all IVF procedure done under IVF specialties.
After the transfer 2 weeks, we do a blood test to find out if she is pregnant. If embryo implantation has occurred, HCG hormone will be detectable in the mother’s blood at that time.

Although pulmonary medicine only began to evolve as a medical specialty in the 1950s, William Welch and William Osler founded the ‘parent’ organization of the American Thoracic Society
One of the first major discoveries relevant to the field of pulmonology was the discovery of pulmonary circulation. Originally, it was thought that blood reaching the right side of the heart passed through small ‘pores’ in the septum into the left side to be oxygenated, as theorized by Galen; however, the discovery of pulmonary circulation disproves this theory, which had previously been accepted since the 2nd century. Thirteenth century anatomist and physiologist Ibn Al-Nafis accurately theorized that there was no ‘direct’ passage between the two sides.
